On February 25, 1996 we started putting the floor boards on the loft. We barely got that done when the spring planting started, and all work ceased during the summer months.
Around the first of October, work resumed once again. Wayne started putting the gable ends up. A tricky job to say the least.
Once the gable ends were finished the roof was started on October 10th.. The lofts came in real handy for this feat, but still it was not easy.
On October 13th the roof boards were added, We used plywood as the first layer. A view of the loft, nearly covered now.
Just one more small piece and the roof will be covered.
The second layer of roofing, buffalo board for insulation. This shot shows how steep it really is. Yikes!
